French football legend Franck Ribery clashes with Cristiano Ronaldo over this year’s Ballon d’Or again

The two legendary footballers have previously clashed after Ribery missed out on สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ the 2013 Ballon d’Or, and now the Frenchman is attacking the five-time Ballon d’Or winner once again.

Ribery slams CR7’s comments revealing three favourites for this year’s Ballon d’Or, to be presented in Paris in September

PSG forward Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah are the favourites.

Ronaldo says Dembele could be favourite after Champions League triumph: “Individual awards have lost their unanimous opinion. I can’t say who should win them. In my opinion, the ones who stand out and win the Champions League should win them, but there is no unanimity.”

“I don’t really trust individual awards because I know what’s behind them. Lamine (Yamaal) can win them, as can (Ousmane) Dembele or Vitinha and other young players … but individual awards are irrelevant.”

However, Ribery took to social media to lash out, asking: “Do you have to win the Champions League to win the Ballon d’Or?” He aske on Twitter, along with three laughing emojis.

This is not the first time Ribery has expressed his frustration at missing out on the Ballon d’Or award. The Frenchman was among the nominees for the award in 2013 after helping Bayern Munich win the Champions League.

But in the end, Ribery only finished third behind Lionel Messi and Ronaldo with 27.99% of the votes, a decision that Ribery is still debating to this day.
